My name is Miranda Starr, and I am happy to be living in Idaho after making a big move from the east coast to the west. I am married and have two children that are attending CAES. We’re enjoying the majestic mountains and relaxed atmosphere found here.
I have found in my time here that CAES is blessed with an extremely supportive community. It has been exciting working with our teachers and constituents while planning for upcoming school activities.
CAES has an environment that promotes high academic achievement. Each teacher strives to bring out the best in each student.
This year’s spiritual theme is God is on the Move. We will be watching, seeking, and taking action in God’s movement. This year’s scripture is Micah 6:8 But to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God. We strive to put this into action this year, by completing quarterly service projects, visits from community leaders making a difference, bible studies, and discussion and prayer. It is our prayer that students will learn the joy of helping others through outreach and service.
Caldwell Adventist Elementary School is a Christian private school that provides a higher standard of learning, faith, and citizenship. We offer excellent opportunities for classroom and experiential learning. Students will enjoy our many academic programs and field trips. We offer music education, choir, and band for all students as we believe music is an important part of every student’s development. We emphasis healthy living and teach students the importance of taking care of their bodies, including through exercise and healthy eating choices. Our dedicated teachers are highly qualified and follow a core curriculum with a biblical emphasis.
MISSION STATEMENT: To provide a higher standard of Christ-centered education that promotes excellence in learning, faith, citizenship, and life.
PHILOSOPY: Our philosophy of education is based on the belief that all true wisdom and knowledge comes from God. The mission of Caldwell Adventist Elementary School (CAES) is to help each student develop spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. While we value the rigorous pursuit of knowledge, our main objective is to help students develop a solid Christian character, to realize their individual worth as children of God, embrace Christian values, and learn to make principled choices. It is also our mission to provide opportunities for students to accept Christ as their Savior. Our philosophy and commitment to excellence is encapsulated in our school motto: "A Higher Standard."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Does my family have to be Adventist for my child to attend an Adventist school?
Absolutely not, though you and your child will gain the most benefit from Adventist education if you are a Christian or at least sympathetic with Christian beliefs.
Will an Adventist school try to turn my child into a Seventh-day Adventist?
At an Adventist school, students’ freedom to think for themselves is respected and nurtured, and students are encouraged to learn how to make good moral decisions regardless of their creed or belief system. However, students are expected to uphold the student pledge and respect the values of our school.
What is the Seventh-day Adventist Church?
The worldwide Adventist church has over 15 million members in more than 200 countries. Adventists operate 7200+ schools worldwide with nearly 1.5 million students.
